ChinterGEO 2015 Looks Back on a Successful Event

ChinterGEO 2015 was held in Ningbo, China, from 7-9 November 2015. The event was an opportunity for the international survey instrument industry – manufacturers, distributors and users – to exchange information, display and view new products, learn about the latest technological research, conduct business negotiations and more. A growing number of international companies are finding their way to ChinterGEO each year and now, after 19 years of development, it has become Asia’s largest exhibition for geoprofessionals.

The theme of this year’s event was ‘Fusion, Trustworthiness and Exceed’. During the exhibition, Beijing Boqian International Conference And Exhibition Services organised the ChinterGEO 2015 Forum. This year there was also an Outdoor Area for UAVs to provide a greater platform to demonstrate the capabilities and performance of UAVs.

The exhibition area comprised 22,000 square metres with about 250 exhibitors across more than 450 standard booths in total. According to statistics, more than 10,000 professionals attended ChinterGEO on the first day and the exhibition attracted 15,000 professional visitors in total.

The organisers of ChinterGEO are satisfied that the event succeeded in its mission to promote better relationships between dealers and suppliers of surveying, mapping and geographical information. The event also helped to expand the marketing channel for surveying and mapping equipment in the areas of roads, bridges, tunnels, electric engineering, irrigation engineering, forestry and ship building.
