Ordnance Survey Chooses SimActive’s Correlator3D
Photogrammetry software developer SimActive has announced the purchase of Correlator3D licences by Ordnance Survey, the UK government agency responsible for mapping. Ordnance Survey had a requirement for software featuring DSM and DTM solutions.
Jon Horgan, product development consultant at the agency, explained that Ordance Survey needed a fast, precise and reliable photogrammetry solution. After establishing a matrix for several software products based on various criteria, Correlator3D stood out as the preferred option.
Philippe Simard, president of SimActive, said he is pleased to welcome one of the largest and most prestigious map producers in the world as one of the company’s clients. SimActive's base of governmental customers spans the US, Japan, China, Australia, France and Canada, to name but a few.
SimActive will be exhibiting at the Commercial UAV Show (20-21 October, London, UK).
