Esri, USA, recognised more than 170 organisations during the Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Awards ceremony held on 25 July 2012 at the annual Esri International User Conference (Esri UC) in San Diego, USA. The SAG Awards acknowledge innovative and intelligent applications of GIS technology.
Organisations from around the world honoured at the Esri UC span industries including agriculture, cartography, climate change, defence and intelligence, economic development, education, government, health and human services, telecommunications, and utilities.
