Orbit GIS Version 10.1
Orbit GT has launched GIS engine Orbit GIS version 10.1. The update is immediately available for download and free for Orbit GIS 10.0 users.
According to Peter Bonne, VP Business Development and senior product manager at Orbit GT, there are a lot of improvements in this version. Orbit GIS is available for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows systems. Other platforms are to follow soon.
Orbit GIS is the core GIS system on which all Orbit’s specialised extensions are built. The Orbit GIS technology is platform and network independent. Orbit GT was one of the first GIS technology companies to embrace 64-bit processing and platform-independent GIS.
