The Allegro MX carries on the tradition of the proven Allegro field computers from Juniper Systems. The full alphanumeric keyboard is especially designed for high production data entry in the field. The keyboard features large keys that are color-coordinated by function. There are 12 function keys available as hot keys for application programs with a unique ability to also serve as Windows hot keys enhance user satisfaction in the field.

The ultra-rugged Allegro MX Field PC meets IP67 and Mil-Std-810F standards for drop, vibration, immersion, humidity, and operating temperatures. The Allegro expansion pods provide customers or OEMs the ability to customize the product for specific market needs. An Allegro expansion pods allow PCMCIA or other sensor modules to be integrated with the product while still maintaining the IP67 rating. Standard expansion pods include a bar code scanner and a GPS receiver.
