Airborne Sensing Acquires Vexcel UltraCam

Vexcel Corporation (CO, USA) and Airborne Sensing Corporation (Canada) have announced that Airborne Sensing has taken delivery of the UltraCamD large-format digital camera as part of a complete solution from Vexcel.

Airborne Sensing also will use Vexcel's UltraMap Server to archive and manage the repository of digital imagery from the UltraCam, replacing the traditional film archive.

Airborne Sensing adds to a long line of firsts in the area of aerial imaging by becoming the first Canadian company to offer large-format digital frame imagery products to its many clients in the mapping industry.
