TerraGo Technologies and Cadcorp Global Partnership18/02/2008 |
| TerraGo Technologies (GA, USA) has signed a partnership agreement with Cadcorp, making the GeoPDF format available to users of Cadcorp SIS - Spatial Information System, as an output option for geospatial data from their family of GIS applications. |
|
GeoPDF is the only geospatial data distribution and collaboration format that leverages the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) to give users mapping functionality and capabilities via Adobe Reader. Utilising the GeoPDF format, Cadcorp SIS users can extend maps, imagery and attribute data to virtually any computer in a portable format that most people already know how to use, making it simple and cost-effective for GIS professionals to share geospatial data with everyone.
A Map2PDF version for Cadcorp SIS applications will be available at the next release.
