Data Quality Health Check Lab27/02/2008 |
| 1Spatial (United Kingdom), in partnership with Salford GIS, will be running a Data Quality Health Check Lab during their 2008 Conference: ‘1 Source of Truth', being held from 29th April to 1st May at the Radisson SAS Hotel, Stansted Airport, UK. |
|
The Data Quality Health Check Lab, an initiative for the 2008 Conference, will be hosted by independent consultants Salford GIS and gives attendees the chance to bring their own sample spatial data to the Conference and have it put through a series of standard tests to assess its overall quality. Delegates will be shown how to run tests themselves and will receive a report detailing the results.
Standard datasets will be available but delegates are encouraged bring their own spatial data on DVD, CD, or other storage media*. All popular spatial data formats will be supported including: - ESRI Shape - MapInfo TAB - Oracle SDO_Geometry.
The Data Quality Health Check Lab offers a unique opportunity for delegates to examine ways to assess spatial data quality in a highly practical environment and to try out different techniques for themselves on their own datasets. Salford GIS Consultants will be on hand to explain the tests and to provide support to delegates. Participation is free throughout the duration of the conference but delegates are asked to pre-book time slots by emailing conference@1spatial.com More news from this supplier: 1Spatial Aquires ComSine 1Spatial Reseller for Tele Atlas Validation Tool Spatial Data Oracle Spatial Data Management Conference 1Spatial Releases Radius Studio Version 2.0 New 1Spatial Appointments Geo-scan Tools for Managing Scanned Images Next-Generation Satellite Confirmed for Launch Exploring the Power of Spatial Thinking ISPRS Congress Approves Beijing Declaration Space Imagery Detected Presence of Petroleum Products AAMHatch GeoEye's 'International Best Performer' Clark Labs Donates to Training Institute Kentucky City Will Deploy ArcGIS Software in Organisation Autodesk has acquired 3D Geo GmbH New Zealand's Rodney District Labeling Solution Comments (0): |
