TerraGo Technologies Expands26/03/2008 |
| TerraGo Technologies (GA, USA) has announced that it has doubled its sales organisation and appointed Jeff Young director of global business development. The personnel growth comes in response to a year in which sales of TerraGo Technologies' products more than tripled as use of the GeoPDF geospatial data distribution and collaboration format expands. |
|
In his new role, Young will be responsible for helping TerraGo Technologies expand sales of its Map2PDF solutions through business partnerships with strategic resellers and technology providers.
Young has more than 30 years of technology sales, program and project experience, with nearly 20 years experience in senior management positions with GIS companies. Prior to joining TerraGo Technologies, he served as director of business development for SANZ Corporation and as regional director for Leica Geosystems-Americas, as well as vice president of global solutions for sales and marketing at Space Imaging, LLC.
Experienced GIS industry executives Jason Briley and Matt Falter join Young as recent hires at TerraGo Technologies. Briley will manage sales for the southeast region while Falter has been appointed sales manager of the northeast region. The organization has also added engineering and inside sales personnel to enhance the team's capabilities and provide customers more comprehensive resources.
