He is an eight-year veteran of Cadence Design Systems, where he was a Vice President and General Manager. During his five-year tenure at Approva, he played a critical role in securing more than $35 million in venture investment, led the market strategy that helped the company become an acknowledged industry visionary and grew annual revenue at an average rate of over 100 percent per year. Prior to Approva, Cobb was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Strategic Alliances for enterprise collaboration and

knowledge management pioneer Intraspect Software (Vignette) where he helped position the company for rapid growth, then built and led successful global field operations for four years.
