| TerraGo Technologies (GA, USA) has appointed Anne Hale Miglarese to the company's board of directors. In this capacity, she will provide strategic direction and insights to key customers and markets. An independent director to the board with a unique hybrid of public and private sector experience, Miglarese's appointment comes on the heels of the recent announcement and arrival of TerraGo's new president and CEO, Richard Cobb. |

One of only 28 individuals selected for the recently formed National Geospatial Advisory Committee, Miglarese previously served as president and managing director of Fugro EarthData, Inc., a company specialising in airborne mapping, remote sensing and GIS services. She directed remote sensing and GIS programs for ten years as chief of the Coastal Information Services branch of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Coastal Services Centre.
She currently serves of the board of MAPPS and as co-chair of the NSGIC corporate leadership council. Miglarese holds a B.S. and M.S. in geography from the University of South Carolina.

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
