CitySphere 2.0 also includes integrated aerial imagery capabilities for select worldwide cities, such as San Juan and Edinburgh, where demand for surface-detail imagery is especially critical in evaluating economic development and environmental issues.
DigitalGlobe provides critical business tools for companies needing access to current, consistent and reliable worldwide satellite imagery data to inform workflows and strategic decision making. First launched in July 2005, the CitySphere digital image library provides the geographic data foundation for a wide range of applications including urban planning and development, web portals for consumers, governments and agencies, as well as navigation and mobile mapping that rely on up-to-date, easy-to-use, on-demand precision satellite imagery.

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
