DigitalGlobe (CO, USA) has appointed Judith McHale and Warren Jensen to the DigitalGlobe board of directors, effective immediately. Judith McHale most recently served as president and chief executive officer of Discovery Communications, the parent company of cable television's Discovery Channel.

Warren Jensen most recently served as executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer for Electronic Arts. Previously, he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Amazon.com, and executive vice president and chief financial officer for Delta Air Lines and held several positions with General Electric.

 

Jill Smith, chief executive officer of DigitalGlobe comments: "Judith's expertise in monetising content assets, combined with Warren's strong financial management background will provide expert guidance to DigitalGlobe as the company seeks to capitalise on market growth opportunities for commercial satellite imagery."
