ERDAS Distributor for Republic of Korea

  24/09/2008
Soul-based JiguSoft has been appointed the master distributor of ERDAS for the Republic of Korea. This relationship allows ERDAS to participate more effectively in the Korean market, as JiguSoft will facilitate expedited processing of resellers\' orders. Additionally, resellers will avoid the additional shipping and handling charges that may increase the cost of orders shipped directly from the United States.

JiguSoft Inc. will provide marketing, technical support, and training to organisations within the Korean ERDAS reseller network. The reseller network comprises Geomonitoring, SOMAF, R&G World, and DOSA, and it will continue to offer sales, software customisation, and project consulting directly to Korean customers.

3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
