| NovAtel (Canada) has announced the launch of Version 3.500 firmware for their OEMV family of GNSS precision receivers. Version 3.500 firmware includes the new RT-2 L1TE positioning, ALIGN heading and the latest OmniSTAR HP 4.28 library. |

RT-2 L1TE is NovAtel's new single frequency RTK solution which combines GPS and GLONASS measurements to produce centimeter accurate positions for baseline lengths of up to three kilometers. RT-2 L1TE is an L1 frequency solution designed to deliver a low cost positioning alternative on the OEMV-1G platform in the survey/GIS market. NovAtel's ALIGN feature provides 10 Hz distance and bearing Information.
OmniSTAR has released their latest HP 4.28 library which has been incorporated into firmware version 3.500. The HP 4.28 library adds support for OmniSTAR's upcoming frequency and broadcast format changes.
