|
1Spatial has been ISO9001 accredited since 1994. The company achieved accreditation against the 2000 standard in January 2001. More recent developments in the company that fall within the scope of the registration include the use of Agile software development techniques in conjunction with the Rational Unified Process. These processes are incorporated within the company's Project Management Office (PMO) controls. The PMO function has recently been strengthened as a result of the company's involvement in large projects for the Scottish Government and the extensive Phoenix project for Ordnance Survey Great Britain. 3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories |
|
The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
