UltraMap manages data download, distributed level 0-2/2-3 data processing, and interactive data visualization for quality control. |

Taking advantage of Microsoft technologies such as the .Net 3.0 framework, its Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) graphical subsystem, and Microsoft Seadragon technology-UltraMap allows project imagery to be quickly loaded and smoothly browsed, regardless of the amount of data involved or the bandwidth of the network, and features HD Photo for lossless data compression.
Vexcel Imaging is also releasing the UltaMap AT module that augments the base UltraMap offering by providing an interactive aerial triangulation workflow and features automated tie-point collection, integrated photogrammetric bundle adjustment, and guided point measurement.

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
