Multiple Sales of UltraCam Systems

Vexcel Imaging has sold a number of UltraCam large and medium format digital aerial mapping cameras. The sales bring the number of UltraCam large format systems sold worldwide to 113. Meanwhile, two orders were placed for the UltraCamL medium format system just eight months after it was announced from the XXIst International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) Congress in Beijing and two months before it is scheduled for actual release.
 

 

The sales break down as follows:

  • UltraCamXp-Geofly (Germany); Techmex (Poland); Shanghai Tephys Optoelectronics  Co., Ltd (China); Shinhan (Korea); Eurosense (Europe);  Aerodata (Belgium).

  • Ul traCamX-the State Committee Republic of Uzbekistan.

  • UltraCamL-Aerial Surveys Limited (New Zealand), SEPRET  (Monocco)

3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
