Dual Constellation Network Correction Service

  07/04/2009
With the recent upgrade of the Ordnance Survey infrastructure in the UK, Topcon can now provide the same dual constellation GPS and GLONASS operation that existing Topcon customers have been used to with the added convenience of a Network correction service - TopNET Plus.

Working with the dual constellation correction service

Topcon was the first company to offer a full DGNSS correction service in the UK taking advantage of the increased satellite availability offered by incorporating GLONASS into its hand-held devices. Now, with the Ordnance Survey OS Net infrastructure update almost complete, Topcon can extend this Dual Constellation advantage to the more precise Network RTK correction service.

TopNET Plus combines the new Ordnance Survey infrastructure and the existing Topcon GPS + GLONASS reference stations offering a precise positioning service to all users. TopNET Plus delivers industry standard RTCM (or CMR+) messages to ensure compatibility with the majority of receivers available for GPS and GLONASS operation.

TopNET Plus, in combination with the release of the hand held GPS+ GLONASS receiver GRS-1, provides the ultimate positioning solution for all applications from sub-metre, decimetre or centimetre.
