ISPRS and The ISPRS Foundation have agreed to fund three projects proposed by ISPRS Working Groups. These are the integration of virtual globes and web service technologies, extension of the ISPRS website and compilation of an online bibliography on terrestrial laser scanning.

The project Integrating Virtual Globes and Web Service Technologies for ISPRS Higher Education Teaching and Research is awarded to Professor Jianya Gong, LIESMARS, Wuhan University, ISPRS Working Group IV/4.

The extension of the ISPRS web presence is awarded to Dr Andrew Hudson-Smith from UCL and  Dr Chris Pettit, University of Melbourne, ISPRS Working Group II/6.

The compilation of an authoritative, on-line bibliography on Terrestrial Laser Scanning will be realised by Dr Derek Lichti, University of Calgary, ISPRS Working Group V/3.

These awards will allow the working groups to develop activities within their areas of interest and to demonstrate and promote the interests of ISPRS.  Further information on these projects can be obtained from the Working Group chairs through their websites.
