| GeoEye has signed a contract to extend its Service Level Agreement with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) through 31st March 2010. This agreement gives the NGA continued access to high-quality color imagery from the GeoEye-1 and Ikonos Earth-imaging satellites. GeoEye was awarded a contract with a maximum value of USD50 million for the four-month extension period under essentially the same business terms as the prior agreement. |

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has the option to extend the contract for an additional nine months on the same business terms, from 1st April 2010 to 31st December 2010. The Company signed its initial Service Level Agreement in December 2008, scheduled to expire by November 2009.

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
