Funding to PCI Geomatics for Commercialisation Strategy26/01/2010 |
| PCI Geomatics was awarded CAD496,000 in repayable funding through the Business and Regional Growth program by the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of State for Economic Development. The funding is to be used for the implementation of an international commercialisation strategy. |

PCI Geomatics plans to use the funds to invest additional energy in broadening its client base and increasing its Outaouais based staff by 2012.
"It is an honour for PCI Geomatics to receive this funding from the Canadian Government," said Dr. Robert Moses, President and CEO, PCI Geomatics. "This support will enable us to further develop and promote our word class technology while facilitating our global growth."
The funding has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Business and Regional Growth program.

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
