SuperGeo Technologies Partnering with GeoEye

SuperGeo Technologies entered into a partnership with GeoEye, in order supply high-resolution images to its local market for customers to complete geospatial solutions. SuperGeo will be reselling GeoEye\'s imagery products in Taiwan and bundle the images with SuperGeo's other products, such as SuperGIS Desktop software, GIS Learning CD and other training materials, to provide a complete ‘GIS Lab Kit\' for GIS teachers.
 

The distribution of imagery products will primarily be in Taiwan, but SuperGeo's global resellers will also promote the bundle solution in other countries.

3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
