| ESRI is to conduct a free, live training seminar this month demonstrating Job Tracking for ArcGIS (JTX), ESRI's software for tracking project information and simplifying workflows. Getting Started with JTX to Manage Workflow will air on Thursday, 18th March 2010, at 9:00AM, 11:00AM., and 3:00PM Pacific time; noon, 2:00PM., and 6:00OPM. Eastern time; and 4:00PM, 6:00PM, and 10:00PM UTC/GMT. |

The seminar will introduce improvements to JTX that will be available in the upcoming release of ArcGIS 10. Attendees will learn how JTX can help them design, document, manage, and execute workflows across an organisation and in all phases of a project.

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
