ION GNSS 2010 Conference Programme

The Institute of Navigation (ION) GNSS 2010 Conference Programme and Registration are now available on-line. The conference is the 23rd International Technical Meeting of the Satellite Division of The Institute of Navigation and is to take place 21st to 24rd September 2010 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon, USA. The Civil Global Positioning System Service Interface Committee (CGSIC) Symposium will be co-locating with GNSS 2010 20th and 21st September 2010.

 

ION GNSS 2010 is the world's largest technical meeting and showcase of GNSS technology, products and services and brings together thought-leaders in the field to present new research, introduce new technologies, and exchange ideas.

 

This year's conference will feature pre-conference tutorials on 20th and 21st September and more than 250 technical papers on a diverse array of topics.

3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
