Prof. Gruen becomes Advisor of PASCO

Prof. Emeritus Dr. Armin Gruen has recently become the Advisor of PASCO Corporation, a Tokyo-based leading company providing services in the surveying, measurement and digital mapping and geospatial information services in Japan and globally. Prof. Gruen has served academic top positions at universities, institutions, received prestigious awards and is currently engaged focusing his activities at the Institute of Conservation and Building Research ETH Zurich, Switzerland.

Prof. Dr. GruenTaking this new designation, Prof. Gruen will offer his expertise and guidance to benefit PASCO for its advanced photogrammetric and 3D related geospatial services to provide the clients with the value added information for achieving their expectations through highly automated data processing and customisation.

Demo of DJI Inspire UAV During TUSExpo

During the TUSExpo, the recently introduced UAV van DJI, Inspire, was demonstrated in the dedicated demonstration hall. The drone has an autonomy of about 8 minutes and can retract the landing gear for improved imagery. The rechargeable battery can be swapped for increased operational time. The camera is stabilised.
