GeoSpatial Experts offers GPS-Photo Link in two editions - GPS-Photo Link: GIS Pro for geospatial professionals mapping their photos in a true GIS environment such as ArcGIS; and GPS-Photo Link Express for business users who map photos on a digital or web-based map and generate reports from their photo inventories. All enhancements in Version 5.0, with the exception of ArcGIS-related capabilities, are available in both editions. The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
