The new NovAtel website provides easier access to customer sales and support services such as online services and technical documentation. Gordon Dale, VP Marketing for NovAtel Inc. stated, "Our website team utilized feedback from customer and dealer surveys, and information from internal stakeholders to develop a fresh new website with a significantly improved navigation structure." Dale added, "We believe our new corporate website is much more intuitive and user friendly, and that both existing and potential customers will be able to easily locate the GNSS product, industry and technical information they are looking for."

3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
