SuperGeo Technologies was invited to ‘Geographic Information System and Land Management' Seminar held by International Center for Land Policy Studies and Training (ICLPST), Taiwan. The seminar is authorised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan, for the attendees from more than twenty countries. The purpose of the seminar is to introduce how GIS technologies can be applied to land management. Therefore, SuperGeo team made reference to several success stories and applications in this domain.

During the presentation, SuperGeo team highlighted the research and development conditions of SuperGIS software products, all of which are developed in the company. The global expansion of SuperGeo reseller network is also mentioned for the audience, who are from Europe, Latin America, Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Since the attendees are mainly researchers and representatives from land management or GIS-related government agencies, they are very impressed by SuperGIS software regarding its functions, capabilities, and price advantages. Many of the attendees are already in touch with SuperGeo for further cooperation opportunities.

3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
