UltraCamXp for GISPRO13/08/2010 |
| GISPRO LLC has contracted with Vexcel Imaging GmbH to purchase an UltraCamXp large-format digital aerial camera system. The UltraCamXp, GISPRO's first large-format digital aerial camera, is an integral part of its Airborne Photogrammetric Platform project. The Vexcel Imaging camera will be mounted on a Partenavia P-68 TC Observer aircraft, in addition to an airborne laser scanner, a medium-format digital camera, a thermal imaging camera, and GPS/IMU. |

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
