Instructor-Led Online Training

  25/08/2010
Safe Software has expanded its FME Training Programme with the addition of instructor-led online training. This is an option for users who can't afford the time or expense of traveling to a training facility, enabling easier access to a broader range of data interoperability topics.

Taught by Safe's FME Certified Trainers, online training courses are delivered in an interactive virtual classroom and are a hands-on learning alternative. Class size is limited to the same number of participants as Safe's Classroom Training courses, ensuring that students get the personal attention they need to optimise their learning experience.

Through instructor-led online training, FME users with common interests also have easier access to a greater variety of advanced data interoperability topics.

Upcoming instructor-led online courses include FME for the Esri Enthusiast on 22nd and 23rd September 2010. Private classes for your company can also be arranged on request.

3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
