| The Munich-based company GAF AG (GAF) has now been active and successful in the geoinformation market for 25 years. This anniversary will therefore be a leading feature of this year's appearance at Intergeo. GAF will occupy a pavilion, on Stand J 118 in hall 11/2, together with a number of its main partners: E-GEOS, Euromap, European Space Imaging, Intermap and Spot Image. The GIS Round Table (RTG) will also again be present on the GAF stand. |

In addition to the provision of data, GAF also offers a combination of GIS technology and in-house software development that is unique well beyond the borders of Germany. The company's portfolio is also strengthened by the domestic and international provision of customer-oriented consultancy services.

3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories |

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
