Veripos Exhibits In US

  16/09/2010
Aberdeen (UK)-based Veripos, GNSS positioning specialists for the the world offshore industry, plan to present their latest technical developments in the US with key stand displays at the MTS Dynamic Positioning Conference in Houston from 12th and 13th October, and the annual Society Exploration of Geophysicists (SEG) event in Denver from 17th to 20th October.

Exhibits include the company's new globalised high-accuracy positioning facility providing decimetre-level accuracies, Veripos Apex. Complementing a companion Ultra service, it utilises Precise Point Positioning (PPP) techniques for correction or or modelling of all GNSS error sources.

Also featured will be a new fully integrated mobile unit which can be configured to accommodate a range of Veripos solutions, the LD6. It can be typically configured with single or dual-frequency GNSS receivers in addition to optional reception modules for accepting corrections from Veripos HF service, MF beacon service and UHF correction sources; the system is suitable for a wide range of applications, including hydrographic and offshore surveying, dredging, offshore construction, seismic exploration and dynamic positioning.
