Getmapping Acquires Geosense

Tristram Cary, will remain as Chairman of the Group, focusing on strategic business development. Dave Horner, Martin Tocher and Matt Murphy of Geosense have joined the Getmapping board of Directors, with Dave Horner becoming the new Managing Director. “This is a very exciting time for Getmapping and I am confident that the new merged company is better placed to grow and prosper than we were as two separate entities,” said Dave Horner. “Geosense has developed an excellent reputation in the South African aerial survey market with significant long term customers such as the Cape Town Municipality and the South African National Mapping Agency.
