Business Development Director Appointment02/03/2011 |
| GeoSpatial Experts has named John Clark as its new Director of Business Development. Clark will expand and manage the GeoSpatial Experts Business Partner Programme, which includes an international network of GPS-Photo Link software resellers and system integrators. |
|
Bringing a strong background in sales channel management, Clark will work with GeoSpatial Experts partners to identify opportunities in key markets where the photo-mapping software can provide an advantage to end users in business and professional mapping applications.
Clark will ensure each partner has a solid understanding of how GPS-Photo Link software fits into, enhances and differentiates each end-user sales proposal. He will be implementing a variety of activities designed to accelerate partner success - including product education, sales training, and opportunity recognition instruction.
"John Clark brings 20 years of business development and marketing experience to his new position," said GeoSpatial Experts CEO Rick Bobbitt. "His impressive track record of building successful sales channels and partner programs for other leading software developers - such as Unidata and NEON/Sybase - makes him a great fit for us."
Celebrating its 10th year in business, GeoSpatial Experts became the first commercial developer of photo-mapping software with the release of GPS-Photo Link in 2001. Now available in Version 5.0, GPS-Photo Link has become the industry standard software for geotagging and photo mapping applications.
