PT Globecon Indonesia (PTGI) is to promote Maptek Vulcan geological modelling and mine planning software in Indonesia. PTGI will sell Vulcan to the Indonesian mining market, as well as offer technical support, training and consulting for Vulcan users through its offices in Jakarta and Balikpapan.

 

 

All PTGI technical staff are trained in Vulcan and experienced in delivering quality services and expertise. They will work closely with Maptek staff, supported by Maptek's global network, to ensure the highest quality outcomes can be delivered to Indonesian customers.

 

Roy Fordham Vogler, president of PT Globecon Indonesia, says that Indonesian mining has matured into a professional and skilled industry, where technical adaptation is readily accepted, evidenced by embracing the latest and best in mining software.
