RapidEye Unveils A New Corporate Look and Website

The 'star' of every page is RapidEye's satellite imagery, a key component in their products and services.

"Our new logo and website reflect the dynamic features of our organisation and ushers us into a new era since we are now among the leading commercial satellite image providers. We are moving in a new direction with more innovative marketing programs and are beginning more focused efforts to create global brand awareness in our markets and to continue building confidence within the industry."

In just over ten years, RapidEye has grown from a small group of individuals working in Munich, to a team of over 130 multi-national professionals located just outside Berlin. Its constellation of five identical EO satellites were launched in August of 2008 and commercial operations began in February of 2009. Imaging Earth at a rate of up to 4 million km² every day, the RapidEye Library, its ever-growing archive of imagery, has amassed over 2 billion square kilometers of Earth, which includes coverage of many areas multiple times.
