Mobile Mapper M1 for Airborne Imaging

  17/05/2011
Airborne Imaging, has purchased Optech's Lynx Mobile Mapper. Airborne Imaging has offices in Canada and the United States. Established in 2004, they have acquired over 250,000 square miles of Lidar data for over 300 clients around North America.

Martin Maric, Airborne Imaging's sales manager for Data Sales and New Acquisitions, focuses on the company's ability to offer a more diverse product to their clients. "The company has always been a leader in aerial Lidar services. This new Lynx system allows us to expand the service we offer to existing clients and lends itself to entering new and exciting markets with the latest in mobile mapping technology by Optech," he said.

"We are pleased to have Airborne Imaging augment their aerial Optech equipment with a Lynx system," said Daina Morgan, Optech's product manager, Lynx Mobile Mapper. "Given their experience with airborne data collection, their ability to acquire large and diverse projects, and their proven ability to adopt and embrace new technology, we anticipate many groundbreaking surveys will be undertaken by Airborne Imaging with their Lynx M1".
