Leica Geosystems is committed to continually improve and extend Leica SmartWorx Viva surveying software. This is proven in the fact that barely six months after the release of SmartWorx Viva v3.00 there is now available SmartWorx Viva v3.50.
The new features in SmartWorx Viva v3.50 include Leica Active Assist which allows a support person to view and control the screen of the user's Leica Viva CS Field Controller or TS total station. Other features are sketching templates allowing sketching to be made on lined or grid paper; DTM import; copy last stored point; support of Leica DISTO D8 and TruPulse 360 GNSS hidden point devices; ability to use lines from control jobs as alignments within the Road app and New Unlevelled Setup app facilitating using a total station on an un-level platform such as a boat or barge.
Leica SmartWorx Viva software was designed with simplicity in mind by using clear graphics, logical menu structures, non technical terminology and simplified workflows.
