Optech and Cardinal Systems Joint Initiative15/06/2011 |
| Optech, Canada, and Cardinal Systems are entering into a joint development initiative covering Cardinal's VR suite of photogrammetric and Lidar processing products. Under the terms of the agreement Optech and Cardinal Systems agree to jointly enhance existing software and develop new software solutions for Optech's line of imaging products, including Optechs new line of multispectral and interline frame cameras. |
|
"This is a synergistic partnership. Cardinal's information extraction software is very complementary to Optech's line of imaging and lidar sensors," said Don Carswell, CEO of Optech Incorporated.
"Both Optech and Cardinal's traditional and emerging markets create common software goals that make this a unique opportunity," said Mike Kitaif, Manager of Software Development for Cardinal Systems. "We believe this collaboration will augment our concentration on the development of leading-edge technology for our clients in the geospatial community."
