Addressing Webinar Part 1

On 29th June 2011, URISA is to present "Addressing Webinar Part 1: Return on GIS Investment is Key for Local and State Government" in its Connect series of educational offerings. The one hour webinar will be led by Martha McCart Wells, an experienced county GIS Manager and a national leader in addressing practices.

 

This session will show the importance of having access to good addresses and the risks involved when addresses are incorrect or out-of-date. Is your organization prepared to make this type of investment? What can happen if you don't?

 

Webinar topics are What is an address repository? What are the benefits of having an address repository in for local governments? Geoauditing: What is it and why is it important? Why addresses are central to good local government and enterprise information architectures.

 

The webinar is to take place on Wednesday, 19th June 2011 from 1:00 PM EDT to 2:00 PM EDT. Cost are free for URISA members and USD25 for non-members.

 

Addressing Webinar Part 2 will be presented in Fall 2011 and focused on implementing the new standards.
