Introduction to Innovations at Intergeo 2011

GIM International will be attending the official Intergeo press conference on Wednesday 28th September 2011. The press conference is being organised as an introduction to the innovations and main topics being unveiled at the world's leading trade fair and conference for geodesy, geoinformation and land management from 27th to 29th September.

 

Press Conference and Opening Ceremony Intergeo 2011The press conference will be hosted by event organiser DVW e.V. (the German Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management) and will be held at the Intergeo Press Centre 'CCN Ost' at the Nuremberg exhibition centre.

 

The dialogue partners are Prof. Dr. Karl-Friedrich Thöne, DVW e.V., Olaf Freier, HINTE Messe- und Ausstellungs-GmbH, Ed Parson, Geospatial Technologist, Google Inc., Chris Gibson, Trimble (Conference Sponsor), Dr. Hartmut Rosengarten, Exhibitor Board, Rainer Bomba, State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS) and Prof. Dieter Kempf, Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM). The moderation will be hosted by Hagen Graeff, DVW GmbH.

 

The official Intergeo opening ceremony will take place on Monday 26th September at 7.30 p.m. at the Ancient Town Hall (Altes Rathaus) of Nuremberg.
