Blom Street-level Imagery at Intergeo23/09/2011 |
| Blom is launching BlomSTREET during Intergeo 2011, which is powered by Cyclomedia. On stand D43 in Hall 7, the company will be demonstrating how geographically accurate street-level spherical images, complete with metric capabilities, are an essential tool for street asset inventory, situational awareness for emergency services and responders, and road and waterworks, amongst others. |
|
BlomSTREET comes together via an exclusive franchise agreement between Cyclomedia and Blom in the territories of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Both companies are currently investigating similar agreements for territories in Southern Europe.
Juan Mieza, product manager at Blom, sees that customers are using this functionality. "We are proud that Blom can now offer both data collection and use of street level imagery in professional GIS environments," he continues.
Blom already has a number of customers currently using BlomSTREET since Blom completed a number of pilot projects across the Nordic countries during this summer. Additional territories in Southern Europe are planned to be incorporated into this partnership.

Using Total Stations for Indoor Radiation Mapping |
|
