New Structure Topcon Spain and Portugal

Topcon Europe Positioning BV (TEP) and Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) jointly announce the renaming of two companies and new management structure in Iberian Peninsula. Topcon Positioning Spain (formerly InlandGEO, S.L.) and Topcon Positioning Portugal (formerly InlandGEO L.D.A.) are two new companies that focus on construction and geodesy business in the two countries. Both companies operate under the holding company Topcon Positioning Iberia.
 

 

Juan Carlos Ramos was promoted to machine control and precision agriculture business unit manager whilst Javier Ramos is the new geodesy business unit manager for Topcon Positioning Spain.

 

Ramon Mieres is the new operations manager for the Iberion region and manages the operations area of business as operational manager and also finance manager for Topcon Positioning Portugal. He will work directly with Pedro Arujo, who now leads the entire sales and support team for Topcon Positioning Portugal.

 

Tony Hirayama, managing director Topcon Europe Positioning and Topcon Positioning Iberia, said, "Every member of this management staff has  a proven track record within Topcon and the Iberian market, where they have been active for more than ten years. In the last decade there have been many changes in the Spain and Portugal operations. Now, these companies come together as one strong organisation with the right people in the right positions, people who know our business and are focused 100% on growing it."

 

Ulrich Hermanski, director of TEP sales and marketing, said "This leadership team provides a significant competitive advantage and will allow us to quickly and solidly expand our business. I am confident with this new management team that we are prepared for the future."
