German Success for Australian ISPRS 2012 Team10/10/2011 |
| The Australian Sponsorship & Exhibition team organising the ISPRS 2012 conference has returned from a successful Intergeo 2011. The team met with exhibitors and delegates alike who were keen to learn and hear about the XXII Congress of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) which will run from Saturday 25th August to Saturday 1st September 2012 in Melbourne, Australia. |
|
The theme for the Congress is 'Imaging a Sustainable Future'. Images, whether of the visible or non-visible spectrum, whether aerial or satellite, or whether of agriculture or cultural heritage, are a fundamental resource for sustaining the future of humankind. Information from imagery is what ISPRS is all about, and this is reflected in the program for the Congress.
The feedback from some Europe-based contacts was that they would be happy to forward the information about ISPRS 2012 to their peers and colleagues in other regions so they could consider travelling "Down Under".
Sponsorship packages are available and the organisers can tailor-make a package to suit a product launch or particular focus.

Using Total Stations for Indoor Radiation Mapping |
|
A total station can be used for many applications. Oak Ridge Associated Universities (USA) uses a total station for indoor radiation characterisation, which enables the team to better perform environmental assessments. This video shows how it is done.
