  12/10/2011
During Intergeo 2011, Topcon Europe Positioning (TEP) and Orbit GeoSpatial Technologies (Orbit GT) signed an agreement through which Topcon will resell Orbit GT's mobile mapping software solutions around the globe as a part of Topcon's IP-S2 portfolio.

Cooperation Topcon and OrbitGIS

According to Peter Bonne, vice president of business development and senior product manager at Orbit GT, this deal will help IP-S2 users to better and faster capture features and relevant content from raw mobile mapping data.

Topcon's IP-S2 systems are mobile mapping data gathering systems, designed to capture geographically related environment information. In combination with Orbit AIM software solution, data can be analysed, interpreted and specific content extracted effortlessly. The collaboration between Orbit Geospatial Technologies and Topcon Europe Positioning is expected to result in a unique turnkey solution for mobile mapping.
