ITT Visual Is Now Exelis Visual02/11/2011 |
| As announced earlier this year, ITT Corporation is spinning off its businesses into three separate companies. With this change, effective since 31st October 2011, the parent organisation, ITT Defense & Information Solutions, has become Exelis, Inc. As a newly public company, Exelis aims to continue in its role as a leader in navigation, networked communications, sensing and surveillance, electronic warfare, air traffic management and information systems. |

As a part of this change, ITT Visual Information Solutions has become Exelis Visual Information Solutions, Inc. While the name has changed, the commitment to providing its customers with world-class products and services remains the same, the company declares. The company will continue to develop IDL, ENVI, IAS, E3De and other complementary products and continue to offer a suite of training, support and consulting services.
