| On Tuesday, 29th November 2011 Matthew O'Connell, CEO, President and Director of GeoEye, will kick off the 5th International Conference Earth from Space - the Most Effective Solutions" with a keynote address and plenary session presentation. |

In his presentation, O'Connell is focusing on the role of the U.S. government in the development of the Earth Observation industry, the financial and legal aspects of commercial Earth Observation, and discuss how both have enabled the commercial remote sensing industry to prosper in the United States. O'Connell will also brief the audience on the role of partnerships, including public-private partnerships, in the development of national space programs and discuss GeoEye's strategy and new initiatives.
At GeoEye's booth, as part of the thematic exhibition during the conference, GeoEye specialists will share their experience in using satellite images for global crisis situation solutions and for natural disaster response. Conference participants will also learn about current activities related to the development and launch of the GeoEye-2 satellite.
On Wednesday, November 30, GeoEye professionals will hold a master-class "GeoEye's New Capabilities: From Online Access to Onsite Content Management and Web Dissemination, Advanced Analysis and Imagery Processing," to present the EyeQ suite of products and solutions for management and dissemination of geospatial information and predictive analysis capabilities.
The conference will take place in the Moscow Region "Vatutinki" resort hotel from 29th November 2011 through 1st December 2011.
