Geomatics education is a must to understand the mapping process which is a pre requisite for reading and understanding maps. This is the first step towards transperancey in land registry,

Land registry ,to me is a self running system developing a new and fair society. It will of course stimulate investments (financial security) ,reduce corruption (transparency) , give more power to the people (individual security and incentives), government administration (fair tax and security base) , job opportunity (transparent administration) and geomatics education (positiv influence on primary and secondary education). With professional assistance a land registration system can only have positive aspects to a country and a new healthy sight on developement of this particular country.

IF it is allowed to keep most of its revenues for internal management and is run along business principles then in THEORY it has the possibility to be very helpful in development

3D Scanning of Historic Sugar Factories |
|
The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
