Meixner Signs Geoverse Agreement with Euclideon

Meixner Imaging, Austria, and Euclideon, Australia, have signed an agreement that appoints Meixner as the premium distributor for Geoverse software in the EMEA region. The agreement was signed by Harald Meixner, CEO of Meixner, and David Merson, chairman at Euclideon.

Euclideon developed the Geoverse software to allow viewing large point cloud datasets. Euclideon’s technology is able to handle unlimited amounts of Lidar data on entry level computers, which can be loaded instantaneously and manipulated in ways previously unimaginable. Geoverse, and its underlying Unlimited Detail technology, displays 3D point cloud data for use by all users in an organisation, and is designed for the users to instantly and effortlessly visualise 3D point cloud data in its geospatial context.

The opportunity to distribute such an innovative product will enhance the business, said Meixner. Geoverse is the best visualisation solution on the market today for viewing these large files, according to Meixner, who added that Meixner Imaging and its many clients are increasingly using the Lidar point cloud and photogrammetry data. Distributing this software enhances Meixner’s position as an industry leader within the Geospatial Industry, he concluded.

Euclideon recognises Meixner as an industry leader and has worked with Meixner, to better understand industry and in particular photogrammetry requirements, stated Dell. Euclideon is proud to count Meixner as a leading distributor and believes that through a partner such as Meixner, Euclideon will continue to deliver groundbreaking technologies.
